"About the strip." What does that mean? You want us to save you the trouble of reading Arlo and Janis by telling you what it's about? Is that it? If you want to know what the strip is about, we highly recommend you read it. But if you insist on a synopsis, Arlo and Janis is a strip about a husband, a wife and their young son. Whoa! Hot dog! So, what makes it different from the several hundred other strips out there about a hapless married couple and their cheeky offspring? Well, that's why we want you to read it. Honestly, if we said Arlo and Janis is "warm, hilarious, sensitive, uplifting and biodegradable," you wouldn't necessarily believe us, would you? We can tell you that Arlo and Janis is the only comic strip that Jimmy Johnson is paid to produce, which--to him--makes it the best comic strip in newspapers today.
