Holiday Store

This Year Marks the 40th Anniversary of "A Charlie Brown Christmas"

One of the most memorable holiday specials of all time airs tonight, Tuesday, December 6th and on Friday, December 16th (8pm EST/PST, 7pm CST) on ABC. Watch Charlie Brown discover the true meaning of Christmas.

Holiday Strip - Big Nate's Secret Santa

Comics.com and Lincoln Peirce are spreading the holiday spirit with a special three-week series that teaches Nate the true meaning of Christmas giving.

When his class picks "Secret Santas," Nate gets his classmate Jenny, a girl he wants desperately to impress. He ignores the five-dollar spending limit by buying her a $30 gift. When he breaks the expensive gift, he realizes he has to find another but cannot afford to buy anything else. In the end, Nate discovers that giving is a rewarding experience when you put your heart, rather than your money, into it.

The strip will run from Monday, December 5th through Saturday, December 24th.

    A New Year - a New Comic…

    Launching January 2, 2006 on
http://www.comics.com "Cow & Boy" is a new comic strip by Mark Leiknes that explores the unlikely friendship of a boy and his cow. This beautifully drawn, strikingly funny strip stars Billy, a regular boy who enjoys fishing, biking and hanging out with his best friend named Cow, who just happens to have four stomachs and a set of udders. Billy's dad is a farmer who enjoys a hard day's work and wishes his only son had not befriended a cow. Billy's mom is very loving, but has no room in her house for 800-pound animals.

Look for Cow & Boy on Comics.com in January.
